Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Mcraftr website and public demo operated by DeployFaith. It explains how information is handled for the hosted site and demo, and it distinguishes those hosted services from independent self-hosted deployments.
Scope
This policy applies to the hosted services operated by DeployFaith, including mcraftr.deployfaith.xyz and the public demo.
This policy does not automatically apply to self-hosted copies of Mcraftr run by third parties. Self-hosted operators are responsible for their own deployment, storage, security, logs, and compliance practices.
Information We Handle
For the hosted website and public demo, DeployFaith may handle:
- account and sign-in information used for the public demo
- session and authentication data, including cookies used to keep users signed in and protect sessions
- application data created while using the hosted demo, such as saved server settings, preferences, avatars, chat logs, audit logs, and terminal history or favorites to the extent those features are enabled in the hosted environment
- uploaded content submitted through features that are enabled in the hosted environment
- technical and operational information such as IP addresses, request metadata, reverse-proxy logs, application logs, and error logs
The Mcraftr software itself uses SQLite and Redis and encrypts stored RCON passwords at rest. In self-hosted deployments, those systems are controlled by the self-hoster, not by DeployFaith.
How Information Is Used
Information is used only as reasonably needed to operate and secure the hosted site and public demo, authenticate users, provide demo functionality, troubleshoot errors and abuse, improve the product, and respond to support, privacy, or legal questions.
Cookies and Sessions
The hosted site and public demo use cookies and session data for authentication, session continuity, and CSRF protections. This site does not claim to use advertising or tracking cookies unless that changes in the future and the policy is updated.
Retention
DeployFaith retains hosted website and demo data only as long as reasonably necessary for operations, security, debugging, abuse prevention, and preserving normal application behavior.
The public demo is an evaluation environment. Demo data may be limited, reset, changed, or removed without notice.
Sharing
DeployFaith does not sell personal information.
Information may be disclosed only to infrastructure or hosting providers needed to operate the hosted site or demo, when legally required, or when reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users, or others from abuse, fraud, or security threats.
Self-Hosted Deployments
Mcraftr is open source and can be self-hosted. Operators of self-hosted deployments control their own storage, logs, uploads, backups, integrations, and access controls.
DeployFaith is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party self-hosted Mcraftr deployments.
Security
DeployFaith takes reasonable steps to protect the hosted website and public demo, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
Within the software itself, Mcraftr uses session-based authentication, encrypts stored RCON passwords at rest, and enforces admin-only routes server-side. Self-hosters remain responsible for securing their own infrastructure and deployments.
Changes and Contact
This policy may be updated over time. The current version will be posted on this site.
For privacy or legal questions about the hosted site or public demo, contact contact@deployfaith.xyz.
